Angry Birds

Description:
Bird Island is an island where peaceful flightless birds live . Red is a red bird who lives alone as a hermit due to his grumpy and angry temper. During his job as a party entertainer, he arrives late, gets into a heated argument with the customer and cracks the customer's egg. Thus Red ends up in court , where Judge Beccazampa sentences him to an anger control course.

The teacher of the course is Matilda, who has been an angry bird herself in the past. Among the birds taking part in the course are Chuck, a very fast yellow bird who has caused trouble with a policeman, Bomb, a gentle black bird who tends to explode whenever he gets surprised or upset, and Terence, a huge bird red that is expressed only through growls and grunts. However, the course fails to improve Red's behavior.

One day, a ship comes to shore and everyone rushes to see. Two green pigs , Leonard, and his assistant Ross disembark from the ship; the two claim to be visiting from the Isle of Pigs. In short, the two pigs win the sympathy of the inhabitants, showing them tools that the birds have never seen before, such as a slingshot . However, Red is suspicious of Leonard's reason for visiting, drawing more and more dislikes from his fellow villagers. Then, with the help of Chuck and Bomb, Red sneaks aboard the ship discovering the hold full of pigs, and immediately reports it, but to his surprise instead of alarmed the population again accuses Red of bothering the guests.

Red then decides to look for the Great Eagle, the phantom giant eagle that is said to be the protector of the island, as well as the only bird that can fly. Accompanied by Chuck and Bomb, Red discovers that Great Eagle is not a legend, but he also discovers that he is not at all like depicted in the legends: it turns out that the latter is retired, lazy, boastful and hasn't flown for years. Angry at him and unable to explain to him about the pigs, Red and his return to the village.

The trio arrive to find that the pigs are planting TNT around the island, and intend to steal the eggs of the island's birds. Red and Bomb then try to recover the eggs, and Chuck runs to warn all the other inhabitants of the island of the theft in progress. The citizens are saved from the bombs, but the pigs have already set sail with the eggs. The desperate and embittered birds turn to Red to tell them what to do since he was the only one who realized the danger. Red urges them all to let go of anger, for once, and so they build a boat to reach the Isle of Pigs and get back the stolen eggs.

Arrived at the Island of Pigs, it turns out that the pigs live in a walled city, with a huge castle in the center , whose owner is Leonard, who turns out to be the king of pigs, who announces that soon there it will be an egg feast. Using the same slingshot given to them by Leonard, the birds attack the pigs by throwing themselves over the walls. Only Red, Chuck and Bomb manage to enter the castle, while the others landed in the city are taking care of the pigs thanks to their extraordinary abilities caused by their anger. Even Big Eagle, wanting to help his people, flies to the island.

While Terrence takes everyone away from the city, the trio recover the eggs and are rescued by Big Eagle, but during the escape, a blue egg falls, which Red runs to retrieve from Leonard's clutches. The two end up plunging into the cellars of the castle, where numerous explosives are crammed. Retrieved the egg and safe in a bell, Red activates the bombs and the whole city explodes. Red emerges from the debris with the egg, from which the three Blues brothers hatched, and is hailed as a hero. Big Eagle then reveals to him, Chuck and Bomb that he was actually never lazy and that he made the three of them lose faith in him to find it in themselves.

Back home, Great Eagle and Red are celebrated as national heroes, Red no longer lets himself be carried away by anger and willingly participates in the activities of the city, which has rebuilt him a new home. Peace reigns peacefully on Bird Island, with the chicks having fun with the slingshot that saved them, while on Pig Island, Leonard turns out to be alive and ready to make the birds pay.
